Veda Minute
For anyone making their first foray
into natural skincare, vedaPURE
might be a good place to start.
These products are not as crunchy as
I like mine, but I can see where they
would appeal to the populous. I
made the mistake when reading
vedaPURE's website, of overlooking
the word "key", as in key ingredients;
hence, there's emulsifying wax and
glycerine, etc. in the products.
That being said, there are two
notable products in the range:
vedaBABY Baby Butt Plus, and
vedaMAMA Smoothe.
The Baby Butt Plus is a nice runner
up to the famed Weleda diaper
ointment. Zinc Oxide creates a nice
barrier against moisture, and it
smells nice.
The Smoothe is a scrub of sorts, with
sea salt, shea butter, almond,
avocado, and apricot kernal oils, and
cocoa and avocado butters, to name a
few of the ingredients. Nicely
scented with jasmine and neroli, this
product is a lovely, murkey, mossy
green color. Does feet nicely.
Check this range out, read the
ingredients carefully. I think they
might make a nice gift, a nice way for
someone to stick their toe into the
waters of natural skincare.

Ah, so fickle, your Rebelle Reviewer.
I've added a new favorite to my
scented coterie: Little Flowers.
Small, delicate, and infinitely
enjoyable. Little Flowers gets gold
stars for using glass jars for almost
all of their products.
Goat Milk Bliss Bath Melt in
Jasmine & Earth. Um~ I need a vat
of this stuff. I like my bath brews to
be very fragrant, and this is really
nice and strong smelling. Contains
full fat goat's milk. A luscious
product, to be sure.
Fun scrubbing. Scrubbing fun. A
scrubby good time is what you'll have
with Little Flowers' facial scrubs.
Supplied in clever little upside down
flip top (or bottom!) tubes which
remind one of Philosophy. The
Micro Facial Exfoliate in Ginger
Citrus smells perfectly of fresh cut
ginger, and leaves skin clear and
glowy. Ingredients include adzuki
bean powder, raspberry bran, rice
powder, and honey.
The Lemongrass Mint Sugar Scrub
is very soothing. Grains of suger
melt while you're scrubbing, and the
rice powder doesn't, so you can
scrub for a long time!. Very
stimulating, yet gentle.
Little Flowers' Goat Milk and
Seaweed Mask is genius. A sensory
experience, this~ one can smell the
goat's milk, seaweed, and tea tree
e/o~ they blend into a funky
